Springboard Leaders!

Hi I'm Steve Strange from Springboard Leaders. I believe that leadership development is a continuous, ongoing through-life activity. But the reality is that most people spend so much time focussing in on developing their technical skills, that leadership skill development takes a back seat or is often an afterthought. They leave it until they are promoted into their first leadership role, and hope they pick it up as they go. Many consequently crash and burn!

This is compounded by the fact that your leadership skills and style need to change to keep pace with your career, and as you mature as a person. Leadership moves away from a 'task-centric' style akin to a 'General', towards one which requires deft 'influencing' skills more akin to a 'Diplomat'. Springboard Leaders describes and evokes the evolving nature of these important skills which must keep pace with your career as it unfolds.

At Springboard Leaders I promote a progressive, structured approach which provides timely interventions to ensure that you stay at the top of your game and are equipped with all the skills required, when you need them.

I’ve worked one-on-one with hundreds of people over a 40 year career covering military, commercial and diplomatic environments, and across continents and cultures. By adopting my leadership development system, they have seen huge gains in their leadership capability, and become confident as a result of working with me as they progress from Entry-level to Executive.
